Learning the Ways

Today started well..We had to head out about 8am to drive around to the middle of Juarez to meet with Carlos,the translator[an angel from GOD] to take our girl to check in at DIF to see that all is ok. It went well and I had to sign a medical release saying that I am responsible now..Then it was off to the therapist..Sandra went in first and then they called me back.[the translator was there of course]. Things went well as Sandra voiced her concerns with fears and insecurities...and I tried hard to bring those things to rest "for today"...She has alot of things to work out as do we...She misses Hap and wished he could be here also..But how do you explain that there is a life that MUST be handled in Florida too. I tried to reassure her that we are both here for her and soon we will all be together..Hap WILL come to visit and we will be ok..That he worries for us as a father and husband worries...But then she doesnt know what that is..much less what a mother even is..GOD IS GOOD>>>ALL THE TIME>>> We have homework to do and will continue to see the therapist once a week..This will not only help her but me too..Then we head to school. We arrived early and so she asked if she could go to a friends casa and walk to school with her.It was just a few blocks from the school. I thought after seeing the house that this would be ok...The mother was home ....I drove away and soon spoke to Hap and we decided I should drive back[I was only about 4 miles away]and check..Well I was busted..she saw me...But I think this helped her understand a parents worries...I came on home and soon my mexico cell rang and of course the call was dropped and in no time there was a knock at the door and there was my girl with a friend and 2 of the house mothers where she use to stay..School here, as with many things, just decided to not hold classes. The call that was dropped earlier was Sandra trying to tell me she needed me to come to get her...But what a wise girl,she called the backup and arrived home safely..That didnt help my guilt at all...But PRAISE GOD all worked out..She also brought a friend from school home to spend the night..It has been nice to hear the sound of girls just "hanging out" while a mother cooks..Then John,a good friend from IFM that we have mentioned before, showed up for a short visit. He leaves and then Faith,another great friend from home and IFM[she works for them too.]came for supper and we all had a great time..The girls are just chillin out front as I prepare to retire. I havent had much sleep in 10 days and I can tell you that this process can be very tiring..THings are great..our papers are to go before the judge the first of next week and then they head to Mexico City..THIS IS WHERE we need all the prayers you can give...For GOD's speed to mexico city and back..GOD knows our needs and Sandra's and it WILL be in his time.My wonderful husband misses us and needs us very much. But he is also needed very much at home..His work and my mother who is 84 and requires quite abit of care..Our home there..bills..etc..BUT GOD knows our needs and in his time..PRAY>>>PRAY>>>PRAY..
